South Fremantle Rooms

Nursery (0 – 2 Years)

Introduction

Welcome to our Nursery. We have places for up to 19 children each day. We have a wonderful Nursery Team which consists of two Qualified Carers and three Assistant Carers, who all have current First Aide Certificates and have a wealth of experience. Every child in our care is programmed for based on observations of each child to ascertain their strengths and needs.

The programs cover all domains of development and ensure there is a blend of both easily achievable and more challenging activities provided. There is also plenty of time for all important cuddles. As the children in the Nursery vary greatly in their routines, we have a very relaxed routine in this room for the older children and follow the individual routines of the little ones. We strongly encourage our new families to utilize the orientation period to enable both them and their child to feel comfortable with the Nursery Team before commencing permanent care.

There is a strong emphasis on early literacy and numeracy and natural science.
